Strength Plateaus Explained: Why Progress Slows (And How to Fix It)

If lifts stall, look at sleep, food, and total training volume before changing the program.

Simple fixes

  • Add a deload week every 6–8 weeks.
  • Reduce junk volume and keep main lifts heavy.
  • Eat enough to recover, especially protein and carbs.
